MULTI-ZONE DOOR INTERLOCKING SYSTEMS

The Nuveq Multi-Zone Interlock System provides intelligent door coordination across unlimited zones, ensuring maximum security, contamination control, and operational efficiency. Designed for cleanrooms, data centers, laboratories, and restricted areas, it prevents cross-access between zones and ensures that only one interlocked door—or one zone group—can be accessed at a time.
How It Works
Discover the power of door interlocking with NUVEQ's Cloud-Based Access Control System. The primary purpose of door interlocking is to prevent scenarios where multiple doors are open at the same time, which could lead to safety hazards or compromise security.
01
Basic Two-Door Interlock
The Basic Two-Door Interlock enforces a strict sequential access rule between two controlled doors, ensuring that only one door can be open at any given time. When Door A is opened, Door B is automatically locked and remains inaccessible until Door A is fully closed and secured.
Ideal for simple airlock or mantrap setups, this configuration is widely used in cleanrooms, laboratories, data centers, and secure entry points where controlled, single-direction access is required without added system complexity.

02
Unlimited Door Interlock
The Unlimited Door Interlock expands traditional interlock logic to support an unrestricted number of doors within a single controlled group. When Door A is opened, Door B, Door C, Door D, and any other connected doors are automatically locked and remain inaccessible until Door A is fully closed and secured.
Designed for scalability, this interlock mode is ideal for large facilities, long corridors, and multiple entry points where consistent access enforcement is required across all doors. It delivers centralized control, real-time response, and reliable protection without limiting future expansion.

03
Multi-Zone Group Interlock
The Multi-Zone Interlock allows complex access coordination across multiple zones, ensuring complete separation between areas while allowing flexible operation within each zone. When a door in Zone 1 (e.g., Door A) is open, all doors in other zones (Door B, Door C, Door D in Zone 2) remain locked until Door A is securely closed. Once closed, doors within the same zone can operate independently, allowing multiple doors in Zone 2 to open simultaneously without affecting Zone 1 or other zones.
Ideal for multi-zone environments, this system ensures that critical areas remain isolated while maintaining operational efficiency within each zone.

Key Benefits of Multi-Zone Interlock
01
Unlimited Zones & Doors
Easily configure any number of zones and interlocked door groups to suit facilities of all sizes, from single corridors to large multi-building campuses. The system scales effortlessly as your access requirements grow.
02
Drag-and-Drop Logic Engine
Intuitive software interface allows security managers to create and modify complex interlock rules — including multi-zone scenarios — in minutes, with no coding required.
03
Real-Time Peer-to-Peer Control
Interlock decisions are executed directly at the door controller level, ensuring instantaneous lock activation even if the central server is unavailable.
04
Fail-Safe & Fail-Secure Options
Supports both emergency release and lockdown conditions, ensuring operational safety under any scenario. The system can be configured to maintain critical protection during power outages or system faults, providing reliable security at all times.
05
